About Us

Starting with humble beginnings in 1998, business owner Todd Mansfield was looking for a way to provide for himself and his family. He had spent most of his life working in various positions but nothing was quite panning out how he wanted. He had a close friend who was in the lawncare industry and when he heard that it was lucrative and his buddy was doing well, he started considering trying his hand at being an entrepreneur. Since he had always enjoyed being outdoors and doing his own yard work, Todd decided to take the leap and open up shop.

This was when Lawns Etc. was born.

At first, Todd focused on anything he could to bring in money: handyman work, lawn maintenance, landscaping, and really whatever else people needed to have done so that he could provide for his family, hence the "etc." in his business name. He's always prided himself on taking care of people and making their properties look the best they can be. After his first seven years, he took a huge step and finally hired his first official employee, and then in 2008 he decided to incorporate the company to protect personal assets based on the size the company was growing to.

Around 2010, he started a full-time landscape division along with separate service and lawn maintenance divisions to divide up the different tasks. Now being in business for over 20 years, he's single-handedly become a local business name that people love and trust to handle their properties. He now maintains multiple commercial and residential properties, a lot of which hired him when he first got started.

According to Todd, it's been a long, hard road, but it's been one of the biggest and best things to have happened to him. It's worth mentioning that even though Lawns Etc. is bigger now, he still treats every job with a small-time company mentality. He will always do everything he can to personally handle any and all questions you may have and make it the best experience possible.
